We live in the west end of Glasgow, and have easy access to the outlying countryside. We shall be working on this list and adding to it all the time, so please keep checking back for more!

- Canoeing on Loch Lomond and visiting its various islands
- Hiking up the “Whangie” (Queen’s View)
- Descent into Finnich Glen
- Overnight wild camping trip to Achray Forest (Three Lochs Drive – Aberfoyle)
- Hiking up Conic Hill, with spectacular views over Loch Lomond
- Cycling along the Forth & Clyde canal
- Walk or cycle trip along the Kelvin Walkway to the hub of the west end and Kelvingrove Park
- Hiking part of the West Highland Way to the Beech Tree Inn for lunch
